I’m really disappointed with the experience my aunt had today. She came in for threading and was brushed off by the technician, who didn’t take the time to properly engage or provide good customer service. The threading itself wasn’t even done correctly—there was still hair left behind, and when she politely asked the tech to go over it, the tech seemed irritated. What made it worse was when she asked about lash services—before even asking what she wanted, the tech said she doesn’t offer “her type” of lashes and told her to go to a beauty supply store instead. This was especially confusing because the technician had a variety of lash styles available, yet still made assumptions without asking any questions. The overall experience felt dismissive and honestly came across as stereotypical. A professional should take the time to understand a client’s needs and communicate respectfully—even if they can’t provide a certain service. She left feeling unwelcome and unheard. I hope this is addressed so other customers don’t have a similar experience.
